Data protection / legal notice

1. Protection of personal data

The German Network for Translational Research and Treatment of Dystonic Diseases (DysTract) will process personal data strictly in accordance with the new data protection law (DS-GVO and new BDSG).
It also uses technical and organizational measures to ensure that this data cannot be misused for third party purposes. In particular, the data provided to us will not be passed on to third parties.
Your data is therefore in good hands.

If the opportunity for the input of personal or business data (email addresses, name, addresses) is given, the input of these data takes place voluntarily.
The use of published postal addresses, telephone or fax numbers and email addresses for marketing purposes is prohibited, offenders sending unwanted spam messages will be punished.

Data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible. Therefore, this applies in particular: If you contact us by e-mail, we cannot control the integrity and confidentiality of your message on its way to us.

We expressly reserve the right to take legal action against senders of so-called spam mails who violate this prohibition.

2. Rights

You have the right:

  •         in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 DS-GVO, to revoke your consent to us at any time;
  •         to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 DS-GVO;
  •         to immediately request the correction of incorrect or complete personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 16 DS-GVO;
  •         to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 17 DS-GVO;
  •         to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 DS-GVO;
  •         to receive your personal data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, current and machine-readable format in accordance with Art. 20 DS-GVO or to request its transmission to another person responsible;
  •         to complain to a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 DS-GVO.
  •         If your personal data are processed on the basis of a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 s 1 lit f DS-GVO, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 DS-GVO, provided that there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation.

3. Server log files

The technical service provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called "server log files", which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  •     Referrer (previously visited website)
  •     Requested website or file
  •     Browser type and browser version
  •     Operating system used
  •     Device type used

These data are collected by the technical service provider exclusively for statistical evaluation and technical optimisation of the website and are not passed on to third parties. This data alone cannot be assigned to specific persons. The technical contractor itself does not use cookies for its statistics. However, a combination of this data with data from other data sources is permissible and possible if site visitors attempt to interfere with the accessibility or integrity of our Internet presence.

4. Cookies

Some of our Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Legal information

1. Disclaimer of liability

We create the contents of the DysTryt website with the greatest possible care and check and update them at regular intervals as required. Nevertheless, we are not responsible for the completeness, correctness or topicality of the contents. However, we are grateful for any corrective remarks.

A liability for contents provided by the operators of this site, as well as for contributions by authors and experts is therefore excluded, unless it is intentional or grossly negligent misinformation.

The same applies to callable contents of third parties, to which only a link is created. All offers are subject to change and non-binding. We expressly reserve the right to change, supplement or delete parts of the pages or the entire offer without separate announcement or to cease publication temporarily or permanently.

2. References and links

We accept no liability for direct or indirect references to external websites ("hyperlinks") that lie outside our area of responsibility. We hereby expressly declare that at the time the links were created, no illegal content was discernible on the pages to be linked. We have no influence on the current and future design, content or authorship of the linked pages. We therefore expressly distance ourselves from all contents of all linked pages that have been changed since the links were created. This statement applies to all links and references set within the own Internet offer.

For illegal, incorrect or incomplete contents and in particular for damages arising from the use or non-use of information presented in this way, only the provider of the page to which reference was made is liable, not the person who merely refers to the respective publication via links. We check the links regularly. Notification of possible legal infringements is welcome.

3. Copyrights

All texts, pictures as well as the layout of these pages are protected by copyright worldwide. The use of the contents of this website for private purposes is permitted. The use of the texts for other purposes requires the permission of the person responsible for this website. The product names or company names mentioned on this website are the property of their respective owners and as such are subject to legal trademark, brand and/or patent protection. A counterclaim is only valid in the sense of §56 RStV.

4. General Terms of Use

Access to and use of this website are subject to the following conditions.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website. Access to the DysTract website is at your own risk. The content of this site is provided in its current form.

The user may not use this website:

  •         transmit content containing viruses, so-called Trojan horses or other programming that can damage software

  •         distribute advertising or unsolicited e-mails (so-called spam) or inaccurate warnings of viruses, malfunctions and the like or request participation in lotteries, snowball systems, chain letters, pyramid games and similar actions
  •         violate industrial property rights and copyrights or other property rights
  •         offend against public decency in his conduct of use
  •         harm persons, in particular minors, or violate their personal rights

Although we make every effort to keep the website free of viruses, we cannot guarantee that it is virus-free. Before downloading information and documentation, the user will ensure appropriate security measures and virus scanners for his own protection and to prevent viruses on the Dystract website.

5. Severability clause

If one of the above clauses/regulations is wholly or partially invalid due to statutory provisions, regulations or changes in law, all other provisions shall remain unaffected and shall continue to apply in full.
